LOCATION

01Wchairs.jpg (2630 bytes)A memorable vacation starts with the perfect location. Virginia's Shenandoah Valley awaits your arrival!

Settled in 1727 along well established Indian pathways between the Massanutten Range of the Blue Ridge and the Allegheny Mountains, the town of New Market is easily reached by Interstate, via I-81, I-64 and I-66. Centrally located between Winchester and Staunton, Virginia, where time moves by a different clock and simple pleasures are still savored.

Hidden among the trees along the Shenandoah River's North Fork,  the Swartz property is three miles west of town off I-81, US 11 and US 211 and just across the river from the  New Market Civil War Battlefield. The central location and intimate charm of the self-contained guest cottage make it an ideal home base for experiencing the many pleasures of  the Shenandoah Valley.
